The Wilberforce Society Annual Conference

The Wilberforce Society Annual Conference is approaching on the 1st of March!

This year, the topic will be ‘The New Normal: Global Governance in an Age of Deglobalisation’, with several panels offering expert discussions on policymaking at the WTO, NATO, and the COP summits. The keynote address will be given by Sir Simon McDonald, former Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The Wilberforce Society, a student public policy think tank, annually hosts a Conference at the Cambridge Union. Entry for Wilberforce Society and Cambridge Union members is free. If you are not part of these societies and would like to join us, you can get a ticket here:https://payment.thewilberforcesociety.co.uk/products

With states turning away from global multilateral institutions, it is high time to discuss the merits and limits of policymaking in these international fora.

We look forward to seeing you in the Union Chamber on the afternoon of March 1st!
